Unidentified armed culprits shot/killed one Yaseen and injured another near Metro Cinema in PS Orangi Town. Same day, two
unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire on the vehicle of Maulana Muhammad Ahmad Madani (administrator Madrissa
Mehmoodia/step brother of late Azam Tariq, ex Chief Defunct SSP) at Sector 4-J, PS Khawaja Ajmir Nagri area. Resultantly
Maulana Madani and his son namely Abu Bakr Madani were killed. Further unknown armed men shot/injured a
policeman at Korangi.

Unknown armed men shot / killed one Rizwan near Pir Bazaar, PS Orangi. Same day, unknown armed motorcyclists (02)
shot/killed Saleem and injured Zubair (MQM activists) near Railway Phatak. Paposh Nagar. Reportedly, pedestrian also
sustained injures during the incident. Meanwhile, armed culprits shot/killed Syed Muhammad Asif(ex-MQM worker) at Farhan
Tower, PS Shahrah-e-Faisal. Moreover, four armed motorcyclists shot/killed Roedad Khan (Pakhtoon Action Committee
activists) and injured his driver opposite Discovery General Store, Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Besides unknown armed men shot/injured
02 persons at Bilal Chowrangi, PS Awami Colony. In another incident. Dead body of one Younas Memon was recovered from
Muhammad Khan Road near Jamaat Khana, PS Baghdadi. Reportedly, he was killed over suspicion of being an informer.
Similarly, dead body of an unidentified person was recovered from Clifton Bridge, PS Frere. Further, unknown armed culprits
shot/killed a woman and injured his son in PS Shah Faisal Colony.

shot/killed one Mushtaq at Bheem Pura, PS Risala.

Bullet riddled body of an unidentified person (apparently Baloch) was recovered at Malir Nadi near Jam Goth, PS Memon
Goth. Same day, unknown motorcyclists shot/injured Wali Muhammad (Member Sunni Tehrik, Buzurg Committee) in PS Bilal
Colony. Meanwhile, unknown armed men shot/killed two persons at Shoe Market, PS Garden. Moreover, unidentified armed
culprits gunned down one Nauman at Katyana Muhalla, PS Azizabad. Earlier, on March 11, unknown armed men gunned
down one Naseem at Korangi No. 05 ½. Same day, unknown culprits shot/killed Muhammad Hussain Shah at Korangi.
Meanwhile, an encounter took place between police and dacoits at Mai Kolachi. Resultantly, a dacoit Zain ul Abdin
Meshud (ANP activist) was killed. Moreover, two armed motorcyclists shot/killed one Shabbir Ahmed and injured
Mazhar Hussain (affiliated with Noorani group) near Norani Park, Orangi Town. Besides, armed men shot/killed

Bullet riddled body of one Zahid was recovered from Jhanda Chow, Liaqatabad No. 3. Same day, unidentified armed men
gunned down one Imran (MQM activist) at Ranchore Lane, PS Eidgah. After the incident, the locals staged protest and set
ablaze a mini bus and burnt tyres. Meanwhile, a bullet-riddled body of an unidentified person was recovered near Baraq Petrol
Pump, PS Sachal. Moreover, bullet riddled body of Younas Khashkheli (local leader of JSM Riaz Chandio group) was
recovered from Purana Haji Camp near Baba Pat/PS Eidgah. Earlier, on March 12, unknown culprits gunned down one
Khurram (MQM-A activist) at Punjab Club, PS Kharadar. Same day, unidentified armed men shot/injured Musawar and
Sikandar Chandio at Pehlwan Goth, PS Gulshian e Jauhar. Later, Musawar succumbed to injures at Darul Sehat Hospital.
Meanwhile, unknown armed culprits gunned down Qadir Bux, apparently Sindhi, at Yaqoobad. Besides, a ten year boy Asad
was killed by stray bullet at Sakina Imambargah. Later, unknown miscreants set ablaze three vehicles including a passenger
bus, a rickshaw and a truck at Edhi Centre, Tower and Jamat Khana, Kharadar respectively. In another incident, unknown
armed culprits shot/injured three unknown persons at Quetta Hotel, PS Mubina Town, who were shifted to Patel Hospital,
where two of them succumbed to injures.

Muhammad Khan at Memon Society Daryabad. Further, unknown armed men shot/killed one Humayun Kohistani (ANP
activist) at Munawar Ghowrangi, PS Shahrah-e-Faisal. Today (15-03-11), unknown armed men shot/killed an unidentified
person near Mutchee Miyani Market/PS Khardar. Same day, unknown armed men shot/killed one Lal Muhammad and injured
two persons at Korangi No. 2 ½ , PS Zaman Town. Besides, unknown armed culprits shot/killed an uneditified person at 100-
Quarters/PS Korangi.

Unidentified armed motorcyclists gunned down Shamim Qureshi (MQM-H Aamir Khan group activist having links with Lyari
gangsters) at Karimabad Bridge/PS Gulberg. Same day, unidentified armed culprits shot/killed one Muhammad Rafique near
a struck stand of Mauripur Road/PS Mauripur. Meanwhile, unknown armed culprits shot/killed one Gulzar outside his home,
Wazir Mansion/PS Eidgah. Moreover, unidentified armed culprits gunned down one Haji Muhammad near Light House/PS
Risala. On 17-03-11, unknown armed culprits gunned down an unidentified person at Johar Colony. Same day, unknown
armed culprits shot/killed Muhammad Farooq(ST worker) in front of Café Hassan/PS Risala. Meanwhile, unidentified armed
culprits shot/killed one Sohail (ASI Police) in the area of PS Mominabad, Orangi Town. Moreover, unknown armed
motorcyclists gunned down one Naseer ud Din at Nazimabad Underpass. In another incident, unknown armed culprits tried to
loot Ashraf Ali (affiliated with PPP) at North Nazimabad/PS Tehmoria and shot/killed him on resistance.

Unknown armed culprits shot/killed one Muhammad Ikhlaq (MQM-H activist/Punjabi) due to personal enmity near SUPARCO
Road. PS Mubina Town. Same day, unknown armed culprits shot/killed Muhammad Iqbal (SI) and his son, Muhammad Umair
(MQM activist) at North Karachi, PS Khawaja Ajmair Nagri. Meanwhile, unknown armed culprits tried to loot Ashraf Ali at Ali
Heights, PS Taimoria and shot/killed him on resistance. Moreover, armed culprits shot/killed one Sajjad Hussain Shah due to
personal enmity at Gulshan-e-Ghazi. Besides, an encounter took place between Rangers and armed motorcyclists (02) near
Tibet Centre, M.A. Jinnah Road. Resultantly, a culprit was killed. Today (18-03-11), unknown culprits shot/killed one
Muhammad Aleem at Faqeer Muhammad Turra Khan Road, PS Kalakot.

Road / PS Kalakot. Same day, unknown armed men shot killed one Ghulam Hussain and injured Shafique (MQM workers) at

A supporters) at Agra Taj Colony, Lyari Town. Meanwhile, unknown armed men shot / killed one Kahsif at Burns Road / PS
Aram Bagh. Further, unknown armed men entered house of Haji Abdul Jana and shot / killed him while injured his two sons
on resistance at Pakhtoonabad, Sector-1, Gadap Town / PS Manghopir. Moreover, unknown motorcyclists hurled hand-
grenade on MQM Unit Office No. 150 at Soldier Bazar No. 3 / PS Soldier Bazar, damaging office, but no loss of life was
reported. In another incident, unknown armed motorcyclists (02) shot / injured one Khushhal Mohammad Mehsood at New
Rasheedabad / PS-Khawaja Ajmair Nagri. Same day, unknown armed men shot / injured Danish and Owais at Bantwa
Hospital, Kharadar in a cellular phones snatching bid. Besides, unknown armed persons shot / injured one Shahid at Jodia
Bazar / PS Kharadar. Meanwhile, Special Investigation Unit arrested Saeedullah @ Barki from Mominabad area after an
encounter and recovered cash Rs. 245,000/- and a weapon from his possession. Reportedly, he was involved in bank dacoity
at Saeedabad area.

Two bullet-riddled bodies were recovered at Moosa Lane / PS Baghdadi and Service Road, Peoples Ground near Maripur.
Another bullet-riddled body of an identified person was recovered at Gulistan-e-Johar Block No. 7 / PS Gulistan-e-Johar.
Same day, unknown armed motorcyclists shot / killed one Rashid (police constable) at Abul Hassan Isphahani Road, Gulzar-
e-Hijr / PS Mubina Town. Besides, unknown motorcyclists (02) gunned down one Khushwand Butt near Maula Madad Stop /
PS Chakiwara. Meanwhile, unknown armed culprits gunned down one Shahzad near Meteorological Office, Gulshan-e-Iqbal /
PS Sachal. Moreover, unknown armed men opened fire at a hotel near Disco Bakery / PS Gulshan-e-Iqbal, injuring 04/05
person. As a result, panic/tension gripped the area while shopkeepers pulled their shutters-down.

12. 21.03.11Unknown miscreants hurled a hand grenade at MQM-A, Sector Office, Burns Road / PS Aram Bagh, which did not explode. In
protest, locals staged demonstration (100/150) and burnt tyres at Fresco Chowk. Same day, unidentified armed culprits
gunned down two persons at Kaamil Street / PS Kharadar. Meanwhile, unidentified miscreants set on fire two passenger
coaches at Safoora Goth and near Mosmiat Chowrangi, respectively. Both coaches were completely burnt. Besides, unknown
culprits shot / killed one Rashid at Sector 08, Baldia Town / PS Saeedabad. Moreover, exchange of fire took place between
MQM and ISO activists over wall-chalking issue at Jaffar Tayyar Society / PS Malir. No loss was reported. In another incident,
unidentified armed culprits shot / killed two persons near Good Luck Marriage Hall, Pakistan Quarters / PS Garden. Similarly,
unidentified armed motorcyclists shot / killed one unknown person at Teen Hatti Pull / PS Jamshed Quarters. Besides,

motorcyclists shot / killed an unidentified person at Khudadad Colony / PS Brigade. Same day, unidentified armed men shot /
injured an unknown person in PS Ibrahim Haideri. Meanwhile, unknown armed culprits shot / killed Haji Hanif Tayyab (local
ANP leader) near Agha Khan Flats when he was returning home after offering Fajr prayer. After incident, enraged people
(20/25) blocked roads at Metrovil and adjacent areas / set ablaze two motorcycles. Besides, ANP workers (20/25) ransacked
shops and pelted stones on vehicles at H-2 Mazda stop near Abidabad, Baldia Town / PS Mochko. Moreover, unidentified
armed culprits gunned down an unknown person at Taj Masjid, Shah Faisal Colony No. 01.

Unknown miscreants set ablaze a mini bus at Manghopir Road / PS-Pak Colony and fled away. Besides, a truck driver was
injured by stray bullet and his truck was torched by unknown persons at Memon Cinema Road. Same day, unknown armed
men shot / killed two persons (MQM-A activists) and injured two girls at Sector 11-C/3, New Karachi. Later, one of the injured
succumbed to injuries. Meanwhile, unknown armed men opened fire on a bus at Baldia Town / PS-Saeedabad, Karachi.
Resultantly, 04 persons sustained injuries. Further, unknown motorcyclists opened fire on 03 trailers near Ayesha Manzil
Chowrangi, F.B. Area. Resultantly, 02 persons were killed and 02 others sustained injuries. Moreover, unknown armed men
shot / killed one Shahzad near Hoti Market, Ranchore Line / PS Nabi Bux. Furthermore, unknown persons shot / injured one
Muhammad Umar (Pakhtoon) at Nusrat Bhutto Colony near Qalandari Chowk / PS Sharah-e-Noor Jahan. In another incident,
unknown armed men shot / injured 03 unidentified persons at Babar Market / PS Landhi. Same day, unknown culprits shot /
killed one Gul Rehman (Pakhtoon) at Sector-E, Qasba Colony / PS Pirabad. Besides, unknown culprits shot / injured 04
persons. Later, one of the injured succumbed to injuries. Moreover, unknown armed men shot / injured 03 people at Qasba
Colony / PS Saeedabad. Further, unknown culprits shot / injured 05 persons at Ali Garh Bazar / PS Orangi Town. Later, one
of them succumbed to injuries. In addition, exchange of fire took place between Rangers and Majeed @ Chota Baloch (drug
peddler) at village Ilyas Goth in Mohallah Sir Syed Town / PS Factory Area. Resultantly, one Arshad @ Bara Baloch was
killed while 10/15 others were arrested. However, the main culprit managed to escape. Today (March 23), unknown armed
person shot / injured one Mazhar Ali at Ayesha Manzil, F.B Area / PS Gulberg. Besides, two rockets were fired from unknown
direction, one of which hit the wall of Al-Mustafa Mosque near Kala Board / PS Saeedabad and slightly damaged the same.
The other one landed in open area at Shahban Goth / PS Malir city, without causing any loss. Same day, unknown armed
men opened fire on a passenger bus at Banaras Chowk, Orangi Town, killing one passenger and injuring two others.

at Khurram General Store, Sector 3-A, Landhi No. 04 / PS Landhi. Meanwhile, unknown armed culprits shot / killed one
Allauddin at Gulistan-e-Johar Block 19 / PS Shahra-e-Faisal. Besides, unidentified armed men shot / killed one Muhammad
Saleem (criminal) at Naiabad / Khadda Market, PS Baghdadi. Moreover, unidentified culprits shot / killed one Muhammad Ali

Bullet-riddled body of an unidentified person was recovered at Napier Road. Same day, unknown armed men shot /
killed one Ali Mustaqeem (MQM-A activist) at Shamsi Society / PS Al-Falah. Meanwhile, unknown armed motorcyclists shot /
killed one Nazar near Sohrab Goth. Moreover, unknown armed men shot / killed Aleem Shah (resident of Mardan, KPK) near
Toori Bangash / Orangi Town. Besides, unknown armed men shot / killed Barkat Ali (resident of Gilgit), at a bakery near
Asghar Ali Shah Stadium / PS Shahra-e-Noor Jehan. Further, unidentified armed men shot / killed Javed and injured Noman
at Qasba Morr / PS Peerabad. In another incident, unidentified armed motorcyclists shot / killed one Imran Akhtar (affiliated

shot / killed Farooq at Noor Muhammad Goth / PS Gulshan-e-Maymar. Besides, dead body of one Salamuddin was recovered
from street near Metro Cinema / PS Pirabad. Moreover, unknown armed motorcyclists shot / killed one Hanif Ladhari at Pan
Mandi near Jodia Bazaar / PS Risala. Further, unknown armed culprits shot / killed one Sabi Khan and injured an unknown
person at Met Department Chowrangi/ PS Gulistan-e-Johar. In another incident, unknown armed culprits gunned down one

Tortured dead body of one Muhammad Furqan @ Gola at Napier Road near Kumar Cinema / PS Napier. Same day, unknown
armed men shot / killed one Afzal at Teen Hatti Nadi, Liaquatabad Town / PS Super Market. Meanwhile, dead bodies of a girl
and a boy were recovered at Road No. 11, Laki Bus Stop / PS Sukhan.
Unknown armed men shot / killed one Farhan and injured two others at Baloch Para, near Makrani Mosque in PS PIB
area. Similarly, on a tip-off, CID police arrested Jan Muhammad @ Jano (notorious criminal of Lyari gang/relative of Arshad
Papu) from Manghopir Colony and recovered hand grenades (02), pistols (02) and several rounds of different calibers from
his possession.

area. Same day, unidentified armed men shot / killed one Tariq of Lyari gang in PS Kalakot area. Besides, unknown armed
culprits shot / injured Kobar (SHO Solider Bazar) near his house at F.B area, Karachi.

armed men shot/killed one Jahangir at Jeddah Colony in PS Mochiko. Meanwhile, unknown armed culprits shot/killed Gul
Zameen (ANP activist) in PS Sachal area.

Unknown armed motorcyclists shot / killed one Imran @ Jangi (Private Chief Security Officer of Agha Siraj Durani,
Prov. Minister Sindh) at Azizabad, Block 8. Same day, unknown armed persons resorted to aerial firing during Pak-India
cricket match in different areas including Orangi Town, Shah Faisal Colony, Solider Bazaar, F.B area / Lyari. Resultantly, 40
persons sustained injuries.

Unknown armed motorcyclists (02) shot / killed Maulana Qamar-ul-Huda Ashrafi (Pesh Imam of Masjid-e-Quba / Brelvi) at
Sector 111/2, Chishti Nagar. Same day, unknown armed motorcyclists shot / killed Mauj Ali (caretaker of an Imambargah /
Shia, resident of Jhelum) at Imambargah Shaheedan-e-Karbala, Future Colony, Landhi Town / PS Sharafi Goth.
Unknown armed men shot / injured one Shah Jehan (MQM activist) at Usmanabad / PS Garden, who later
succumbed to injuries. Same day, tortured body of an unidentified person was recovered at Gulshan-e-Mazdoor / PS
Saeedabad.

of an unidentified person was recovered from Old Kumhar Wara / PS Napier. Similarly, bullet-riddled body of one Asadullah
was recovered at Jamali Goth / PS Sohrab Goth. Meanwhile, an armed clash took place between two local groups at Marvi
Goth / PS Shah Latif. Resultantly, one person was killed while two others sustained injuries. After incident, relatives of
deceased alongwith locals staged protest demo (100/125) blocked National Highway for some time.
