RETANNING AND FILLING AGENT FOR ALL LEATHERS – BASED ON DYCIANDIAMIDE SUITABLE APPLICATIONS:

PRODUCT BENEFITS: grain tightness: SYNTAN DF 585 gives a very notable improvement in grain

tightness. fullness: SYNTAN DF 585 levels out fullness differences in the various

parts of a hide. The leathers have a full and round, medium soft handle.

GENERAL: SYNTAN DF 585 is used as part of the retanning process for upper leathers in

quantities between 2 and 5%. The effects will be improved by combining the product with products from our melamine range, i.e. SYNTAN LF 187, SYNTAN RF 181, SYNTAN RF 282 or SYNTAN TF 383.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS: chemical base : dicyandiamide, urea, formaldehyde condensate aromatic sulfonic acid condensate active matter : > 93% appearance : beige powder pH (10% solution) :8.0 – 9.0 STORAGE LIFE: SYNTAN DF 585 has a shelf life of at least two years when stored in the original sealed packaging at temperatures between 5 °C and 40 °C.
