INVITATION TO BID Notice is given hereby that
The City of Negaunee 319 W. Case St. PO Box 70 Negaunee, MI 49849
will accept bids from contractors for mechanical demolition and replacement of: Steam Heating Boiler
Negaunee City Hall 319 W. Case St. PO Box 70 Negaunee, MI 49849
according to Drawings and Specifications prepared by: Integrated Designs Inc. 1021 West Baraga Avenue Marquette, MI 49855 Including, but not limited to: Removal of the existing steam boiler, boiler vent, simplex condensate feed water pump, selective steam and condensate piping; installation of two new steam boilers, receiver with duplex condensate pumps, new steam manifold, and associated gas piping and electrical.
Sealed bids marked “Boiler Bids” will be received at Negaunee City Hall, 319 W. Case St., PO Box 70 until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. At that time, bids will be publicly opened. Bids received after the date and time specified will be returned to the bidder, unopened.
Bids will be taken on a lump sum basis as defined on the Bid Form. Each Bid Package shall be accompanied by a bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount. 100% Surety Bonds for performance and payment of labor and materials are required.
