The building was completed in 1978. The north and east elevations of the building were included in the scope of work. Large sections of these rear walls, which are almost entirely made of brick cladding, extend multiple stories above the adjacent low rise buildings. These walls show displaced parapets on the north and west and their returns. In addition vertical cracking is encountered on the southwest corner of the masonry section of the setback. It was advisable to expose all shelf angles, clean and paint the steel and rebuilt the masonry properly flashed and weeped.

The Edinburgh College of Art Connector Bridge The Edinburgh University Edinburgh, Scotland, UK Master Plan and Design
As part of the new master plan for the ECA, a “connector bridge” was required to link the new Evolution House to the ECA’s main building and Art College. In the heart of the historic city center, the connector is lightly inserted into the overall campus, framing views of the Edinburgh castle and providing a comfortable connection with the main building on campus. The connector also provides an interactive platform for student work, display and experimentation. Here students can replace and reconfigure parts of the material enclosure to allow for exploration and expression of art, design and architecture.
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Interactive Sculptural Installation
With the integration of art and science, “E-motion” is an interactive sculptural installation designed to ‘mark’ the science museum. The sculpture actively changes from day to night. E-Motion has become a commanding symbol for the Carnegie Science Center in the city of Pittsburgh.

Baxters Food Group Highland Village
Founded in 1868, the Baxters Company remains a family business today. Bringing the history and heritage into the present, images of the Baxter’s company are brought to life with modern materiality and exhibition design process. This project emphasizes an educational user experience, both throughout the site and within the buildings and its amenities, all the while making the rich Baxters history “come alive” through out the site and context.

NY S ta te Cap i to l Albany, NY Restoration & Renovation Master Plan Award Winning Project
The New York State Capitol Building in Albany was built between 1867 and 1899. The State of New York recognized the need for a comprehensive, multi-year restoration and renovation effort. A thorough multi-volume historic structures report was undertaken documenting the history, physical development, and current conditions of the entire building followed by the preparation of a masterplan. This program outlined areas to be restored versus rehabilitated. Priorities were established and preliminary scopes of work were assembled for the efforts designated. With the work and priorities indentified, cost projections were prepared for a five year program.

Woolworth Building New York, NY Preservation Project Winner of Numerous Awards
The building, completed in 1913, has an innovative steel frame and is clad with some 400,000 square feet of white and polychrome terra cotta. The restoration of the exterior terra cotta cladding commenced with the development of stress relieving techniques. Every second horizontal joint along the entire width of the building was cut to the full depth of the terra cotta (approximately four inches) allowing the stress to dissipate. Broken and cracked blocks were replaced with cast stone, joints were repainted and surfaces repaired.

Dumfries, Scotland
Working closely with the D&G leadership and community we envisioned a space for engaging and enhancing the student experience in their study of Hospitality, Tourism & Leisure. This hands-on learning environment allows for knowledge building and career specialization while providing students opportunities for real life experiences in a fine dining facility. Balancing the needs of accreditation approvals with existing facilities and design, our solution captures usable space in a transparent building insert. This new addition set between the existing green trapezoidal volumes of the library and the adjacent purple classroom pod, provides functional space while showcasing the new curricular components
