Support for Analytic & Attribute Views

• Virtual Tables can now be included along with Physical tables when creating an Analytic & Attribute Views

• This is don’t use a new ‘migration wizard’ using the “Mass Copy” feature from HANA Studio.

• When adding a Virtual Table to an Analytic/Attribute View these are automatically migrated to Calc Views

Other supported features for Remote Sources

Alter support for Remote SourceThe ALTER REMOTE SOURCE statement alters an existing external data source. This is used to change the connection information, adapter type or technical user credentials.

HANA to HANA push-down enhancements, for e.g.

Support of simple statistics for virtual tablesWith SPS 08 support for SIMPLE statistics on VIRTUAL TABLES delivers a faster way to create basic statistics, such as min, max, null count, count, distinct count.

• Support for VARBINARY data type on Virtual Table
