DUGOUT 1: SQUAD

DESCRIPTION:

The SQUAD dugout provides protection from the elements for players and spectators during field sports. The slanted canopy allows excellent visibility to the front and sides of the pitch, while ensuring those watching will remain dry. The SQUAD has a galvanised mild steel frame. Rocklyn can offer complementary bench seating products to suit the dugout, and can supply the product polyester powder-coated (PPC) to a specific RAL code. For sports such as hockey, a baseboard can be supplied to prevent the risk of injury from ball impacts.

DESCRIPTION:

The TROOP dugout is a player shelter designed with sufficient height to allow standing. The mild steel construction is galvanised and painted to improve corrosion resistance, and the upper structure is clad in clear polycarbonate to provide a good view of the surrounding area. The lower structure can be clad in coloured polyethylene sheet – different colours are available to suit your club. The shelter is also available with bench seating and table if required.

DESCRIPTION:

The Fermata tennis player shelter is designed to help you keep playing when rain threatens. If light showers threaten during a game of tennis, it’s much easier for players to shelter from the weather while the they wait for the shower to end – this is where Fermata comes in.

Rather than packing everything away every time a light shower hits, players can shelter during the rain shower, then immediately resume their game once the rain stops – dramatically reducing the time taken to restart a game and increasing the available playing time.

DESCRIPTION:

This shelter is suitable for many different sports and locations. It is constructed from galvanised mild steel, and is clad in polycarbonate sheeting for good all-round visibility. An optional bench seat is available.

The Driving Range Shelter is a tubular steel construction golf driving range shelter, available in 2, 3 or 4 bay options.

DESCRIPTION:

Rocklyn’s ‘TRAJECT’ driving range bays are a stylish and functional addition to any golf club or driving range – they provide golfers with a well lit, spacious environment in which to practise their swing – protected from the rain. TRAJECT bays are available in two, three or four bay modules – giving you the right platform to perfect your game. Optional floodlighting allows practice to continue after dark.

DRIVING RANGE CASE STUDY:

Rocklyn recently installed a four-bay driving range shelter with lighting for Omagh Golf Club. It has enabled their members to practice their swing and improve their game even when it’s raining or after dark. Rocklyn Sports worked closely with Omagh Golf Club during specificationstagetoensuretheproductsupplied would meet all requirements and would suit the club’s budget.

Havingidentifiedlightingasaconcern,wewere able to work with the club to ensure the lighting systems provided would be sufficienttoallowtheirmemberstokeepplaying after dark. During the fabrication and installation stages our project management team ensured that the driving range bays were installed within a time frame which suited Omagh Golf Club.
