Between-classroom educational service network co-design
Week 1
Local preparation in both schools
Teacher training: 1 day
Pretests and attitude tests: 1 hour / student
Interviews for the simulation start
In both schools: principals, teachers, other actors in the school network,
In the companies: key people from NSD, Marketing, Sales
In the educational ecosystem
1 hour / interviewee
Week 2 - 8
Teaching experiments in the substance field of ecological sustainability, testing the services of the Full Intervention Partners
2 x 2 hours / week
in both classrooms; 30 +30 = 60 students
“Out of school” – project
Students collect data from their daily environment (photos, videos, maps, routes) applying mobile handsets
Students analyze the collected data, and prepare the presentations
Online presentations, telepresence between the classrooms
Observation, one week follow up and documentation,
Questionnaire
Interviews for the simulation continue
Week 10 -12
The tailored SimLab™ process simulation of the collaborative educational service network.
Realized in the foreign country and/or in Finland (applying telepresence)
Participants from
Both schools: principals, teachers, other actors of the education ecosystem,
Other network partners (see partner table)
4 – 8 hours
Video-recording
Questionnaire
Week 8 Posttests and attitude tests: 1 hour / student
in both schools
Week 10 Delayed posttests in both schools,
conducted by the teachers: 1 hour / student
Analysis of tailored simulation results starts.

Sustainable development refers to ecological, social, cultural and economical sustainability in our environment.
Focus in the Global School teaching experiments: ecological sustainability
• In what way can ecological sustainability be observed in students´ everyday environment? • What do we learn about sustainability from our daily environment?
LEARNING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENTResearch interest: out-of-school learning environments

GLOBAL SCHOOLCO-CREATION OF NETWORKED EDUCATIONAL SERVICE MODELS
The network of public and private actors, and people, offers additional resources for learning.
The school applies and integrates theseadditional resources into teaching.
The actors co-create networked service models to producelearning (core value) and economic value (added value).
