    and

    eight

    of us all

    talking

and asking questions and no one l istening

    i t

    seemed). The day ahead meant

    going

    into S a l t i l l o ,

    gett ing

    Berenice

    to

    her

    The

    Mark

    needed t o pay t h e

    they

    I decided t h a t if I

    had to

    when

    they

    weren' t

    so

    So I

    did. I t

    was

    great

    They

    gave me

    a very

    they s l e p t , where

    they

    went, Whowas Who i n c l u d i n g the

    I heard how

    well Cathy

    speaks

Spanish and even how Mike now and then competed

    in

    t r a n s l a t i n g . Besides

    a f u l l

    acount

    of

    food:

    pizza , an

    authentic

    Mexican

    r e s t a u r a n t , hot dogs,

    b a r b e c u e . . . t h e y

    even included t e l l i n g

    me that Sheila

    Maysel Northrup^asked

    Joe

for a bowl of cereal and

this required a telephone cal l to get

    it

    a l l

    unscrambled

    before

    Sheila

    got

her cereal. (They laughed and held

    their

    stomachs on that

    oneJ) Besides a wonderful time a t

    the

    beach, a t r i p into the Redwood

    conversat ions using

    their

    English

    (which should have improved

    as

    muc

    talking as

    they

    did),

    Berenice

    was especially appreciative

    of

    the^

    help Joe

    gave her

    preparing for her

    We are a l l

Although Rodney and I would have

    As a

Pastor Joel Hott, 36, married to

    Olga

    Cardenas. Joel and

    Olga

    are

    parents of

    Samuel

    guitar

    playing

singer-composer, Brother Joel is a barber in Chile

    which

    has helped

    Joel
