Description
Application
The Multimode Power Supply is a MIL-grade SMPS based Power Supply. It accepts Multiple inputs and provides Multiple
DC output. Thus, it can feed Power to a complex communication system, which requires multiple driving voltages in
presence of multiple power sources in the field. The need to energize the equipment from a solitary 12V Battery is a strong
possibility in field when the 48 V bank of batteries is not available in the remote localities or small detachments.
This Power Supply ensures uninterrupted operation of tactical equipment by error free switch over to batteries in case of
AC mains failure.

nCharging of all types of batteries in the field
AC (Genset/ Commercial AC Mains) Operation
In this mode, Power Supply unit operates from AC mains available from any source (Genset/Commercial AC Mains) and
provides the DC output to equipment. Simultaneously, it charges the Battery bank in case battery bank is connected to the
Power Supply.
Battery DC Operation
In this mode, Power Supply unit operates from DC (Battery bank) and provides DC output to the equipment.
AC/DC Automatic Switchover
Power Supply gets automatically powered-up from DC battery input in case of mains failure. This is known as AC/DC
Automatic Changeover. As soon as AC Mains are restored, Power Supply shall automatically power-up from AC Power
Uninterrupted DC Power supply to complex communication system in Tactical environment
