The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO) invites you to join us for its 2014/2015 season, where you will experience an extravaganza of virtuoso piano music from around the world. In celebration of Steinway & Sons’ 161st Anniversary, this season honors the artistry of the keyboard and its foundation in orchestral
repertoire with unique and rarely performed works seldom witnessed live in the concert hall.
MISO’s opening night on Sunday, October 5 features the enchanting and powerful pianist Lola Astanova, and is followed by a succession of performances by world-renowned guest artists before culminating on May 3 at our “Steinway & Sons’ Piano Extravaganza,” showcasing a grand total of six piano soloists
performing simultaneously on stage.
As a special thank you to our Season Ticket holders, you will be given priority access before the general public to the very best seats while locking in your exclusive subscriber discount. Together, we will create lasting memories with you, your family and friends this season, as we continue to engage and enrich
our vibrant South Florida community with the “Gift of Music.”
Warm regards,
Eduardo MarturetMusic Director & Conductor
