Penang’s Highlights

Penang National Park: The Park offers excellent hiking trails which lead to secluded beaches at Teluk Duyung, Muka Head and Pantai Kerachut. Arguably the nicest beach in Penang, Pantai Kerachut is also a favorite nesting spot for endangered sea turtles, and further hosts a rare meromictic

lake, which combines layers of freshwater and saltwater that do not intermix.

Tropical Spice Garden: Visitors can get a feel of plants, birds and insects in a tropical environment at this eight-acre garden which has over 500

varieties of exotic plants.

Tropical Fruit Farm: Spread over 25 acres of hilly terrain, the farm produces over 200 tropical and subtropical fruits including durians, lychees, mangoes

and guavas.

Kek Lok Si Temple: Reputed to be the biggest Buddhist temple complex in Southeast Asia, the temple stands majestically on a hill in Air Itam. It boasts

the beautiful “Pagoda of Ten Thousand Buddhas” which blends Chinese, Myanmarese and Thai architecture.

Penang Hill: Malaysia’s first hill station, Penang Hill stands 830 meters above sea level. Ascend to the top by hiking up or by traveling in the funicular train and enjoy the cool climate and fantastic view at the summit.

Langkawi is Malaysia's best-known holiday destination, forming an archipelago made up of 99 islands. Just an hour’s flying time from Kuala Lumpur, this chain of islands is situated 20 miles off the west coast of Malaysia near Thailand.

Perak’s Highlights

Sungai Klah Hot Spring: Upon arrival, visitors will encounter serene and lush forest patches, as well as clear cold mountain streams that surround the area. Sungai Klah is also one of the hottest points in Malaysia with a hot spring temperature that reaches 102°C.

Royal Belum Rainforest: Older than the Amazon forest, the previously inaccessible 130-million year old Royal Belum rainforest is home to some of the most exotic wildlife in the world. Your Royal Belum experience would not be complete without a stopover at the Orang Asli (aborigines) village. Get a chance to meet the aboriginal Jahai people of the Negrito tribe, who will warmly greet you with their ancient song of welcome done to the rhythmic beats of bamboo

shoots.

Gua Tempurung Cave: You will be awed by five gigantic domes with ceilings resembling coconut shells (tempurung) forming the cave, giving its name Gua Tempurung. The cave stretches along 1.5 km, and is believed to have sheltered prehistoric communities since 8,000 BC. The cave also has an underwater river called Sungai Gua Tempurung, which runs 1.6 km through the cave and enables visitors to explore the wild cave system through

various spelunking activities.

Perak’s Herbal Garden: A 22-hectare wide garden that houses various medicated herbs, cosmetics, aroma therapeutic plants, located in Kampung

Kepayang. The collection of herbs available in the herbal garden provides nutrition and healing properties to all sorts of illnesses.

Lumut and Pangkor Island: Derived from the Thai word ‘Pang Ko’, which means ‘beautiful island’, Pangkor Island is an ideal getaway for anyone who seeks solitude and peace of mind from hectic city living. There are bicycles for rent, which you can take for a leisurely ride around the island, or partake in a

wide range of sun and sea activities such as fishing and snorkeling.

Kampar River: A popular white water rafting destination in Gopeng, Perak. Located 20 minutes away from Gua Tempurung and a mere 26 km from Ipoh town, it offers grade one to three rapids. The waters are clear and cool, and the river banks are surrounded by the lush and surreal rainforests.

PahangPahang

Pahang is the largest state in Peninsular Malay-sia. Nearly two-thirds of the state is enveloped in verdant rainforests, making it an enclave of lush greenery, exotic wildlife and natural treasures.

Its magnificent natural attractions include Taman Negara, a 13-million year old rainforest as well as ani-mal sanctuaries, parks, lakes and waterfalls. Other natural gems include Endau-Rompin State Park and Tioman, a heavenly island.

Kuantan, the administrative capital, is an interesting discovery of modern buildings and charming cottage industries. Pahang’s divine nature, beautiful beaches, lively townships, picturesque villages, friendly people, unique culture and delicious food make for thrilling and memorable vacations.

Elephant Conservation Centre: This centre is dedicated to rescuing and protecting the country’s elephants. Meet these friendly jumbos and watch

Tioman Island: Acclaimed as one of the best island gateways in the world, the warm waters and good visibility make this island a paradise for divers and snorkelers. Tioman is also home to a variety of striking plants and animals.

Endau-Rompin State Park: The second largest national park in Peninsular Malaysia, named after the Endau and Rompin Rivers that flow through the park. The untouched wilderness awaits nature lovers who will be bedazzled with the variety of flora and fauna, astonishing rock formations and divine

waterfalls and rivers.

Kota Gelanggi Caves: Said to be about 150-million years old, the cave complex here contains magnificent formations as well as unique cave animals. Popularly explored caves include Gua Terang and Gua Sanding. According to legend, the caves are actually ruins of an ancient city, and information of excavations and artifacts that were found are displayed in the Mini Museum nearby.

Genting Highlands: Dubbed the “City of Entertainment”, this resort offers indoor and outdoor theme parks, an 18-hole golf course and a casino. Located

forty-five minutes from Kuala Lumpur, tourists can drive up to the resort or stop at the Genting Skyway Station and take a cable car ride to the summit.

Bukit Tinggi: This 16,000 acre retreat captures the essence of different cultures of the world in a single destination. The main attraction is Colmar Tropicale;

غابة رويال بيلوم: أقدم من غابات االمازون، يزيد عمرها عن 130 مليون سنة، مليئة باحلياة الربية املثرية، كما تزاد الرحلة إثارة بزيارة " انسان الغاب االهلي"، و هناك ميكن التعرف على السكان االصليني من قبيلة " النيجرتو" و التعرف على عاداهتم يف الرتحيب بالضيوف.

مغارة غوا تمبارونج: ما يلفت نظرك هنا هو القبب اخلمسة الضخمة بشكل جوز اهلند و تشكل بدورها معا مغارة متتد على طول 1.5 كيلو مرت، و اليت يعتقد ان جمتمعات ما قبل التاريخ حبوايل 8000 عام قبل امليالد كانوا يقطنوهنا، جيري حتتها هنر بطول 1.6 كيلو مرت، ميكنك هناك ممارسة العديد من النشاطات اخلاصة بالكهوف.

حديقة االعشاب: حتتوي على العديد من النباتات و االعشاب الطبية اليت تعاجل الكثري من االمراض، كذلك حتتوي على مواد جتميل، تغطي مساحة 220 دومن.

مسيرة االدغال: جتد هناك خيارات عديدة من املسارات عرب االدغال يف منطقة النكاوي حمليب رياضة املشي من كافة مستويات اللياقة البدنية، لالستمتاع مبشاهدة عجائب هذه املنطقة مثل شالالت "سفن ويلز" اليت تتكون من سبع برك حماطة بغابات مورقة و حياة برية فريدة من نوعها.

بانتاي سينانج: تقع يف اجلنوب الغريب من النكاوي، فيها أطول شاطيء حبري و هو االفضل على االطالق يف هذه املنطقة، مما زاد شعبيته وجود العديد من املطاعم و احلانات و النوادي الليلية و الفنادق و الشاليهات اليت متأل املنطقة باحليوية.

النكاويالنكاوي

من أهم املقاصد السياحية يف ماليزيا، تتكون من 99 جزيرة و تقع على بعد ساعة طريان واحدة من العاصمة كواالملبور، بالقرب من تايلند ، تتميز مبناظرها اجلّذابة، ذات مياه شفافة خضراء لغناها بتالل الطحالب اخلضراء، فهي جنة استوائية ذات شواطيء رملية بيضاء و ينابيع املياه الساخنة، و الشالالت و الربك اجلبلية اليت تسمى » تيالجا توجور« الت متنح الزائر فرصة االستمتاع برياضة التزجل على املاء، كذلك ركوب العربة الكهربائية للوصول لقمة »غنغ مات شينانغ« على ارتفاع الرائعة اجلزر لرؤية البحر سطح عن مرتاً 700

حديقة بينانغ: حيث الفرصة الرائعة ملمارسة املشي خالل احلديقة وصواًل اىل الشواطيء اجلميلة ملراقبة احليوانات البحرية مثل السلحفاة البحرية، كذلك التمتع مبشاهدة البحرية الفريدة من نوعها اليت حتتوي مزيج من املياه العذبة و املاحلة.

الحديقة االستوائية: حيث االستمتاع مبشاهدة نباتات و طيور و حشرات البيئة االستوائية، متتد على مساحة 8 دومنات، ينبت فيها أكثر من 500 نوع من االزهار املميزة.

مزرعة الفاكهة االستوائية: متتد على مساحة 25 دومناً من االراضي اجلبلية، و تنتج اكثر من 200 نوع من الفاكهة االستوائية مثل املاجنا و اجلوافة و فاكهة ألليتشي و غريها.

معبد كيك لوك سي: أكرب معبد بوذي يف جنوب شرق آسيا، يقع على تلة يف منطقة "اير ايتام"، يتكون من جمموعة من املعابد ابرزها معبد العشر آالف بوذا جتد يف داخله اخلليط من الفنون املعمارية الصينية و التايلندية و ميامنارية.

تلة بينانغ: و هي حمطة تقع على تلة بينانغ تقع على ارتفاع 830 مرت عن سطح البحر و ميكن الوصول اليها بواسطة القطار العامودي، ليتمتع الزائر باملناخ املعتدل و املناظر اخلالبة من أعلى القمة.

يف غاية بشواطيء تنعم ألهنا االسم هبذا مسيت الشرق( )لؤلؤة الروعة وتاريخ غين بالثقافات، وهي أهم املقاصد البحرية وقد أعلنتها اليونسكو )UNESCO( بأهنا مدينة عاملية تراثية عاصمتها "جورج تاون" اليت تتميز مبباين تارخيية وثقافية اىل جانب وجود خليط من

الثقافات الصينية واهلندية واملورية اليت تأسر احلواس.

مركز ماليزيا السياحي: و هو بقعة تارخيية مميزة، كان يف املاضي قاعدة بريطانية عسكرية و مركز قيادة اجليش الياباين خالل احلرب العاملية الثانية، اما اليوم فهو من أهم مراكز التسوق و اخلدمات السياحية.
