Page 1: Main Competitors

Here are the magazines that will be the main competitors for my magazine.

Main Competitors

Page 2: Main Competitors

ROLLING STONEROLLING STONE magazine is one of my main competitors as the audience that it reaches includes indie rock lovers. I regard this as one of my main competitors due to it being a very well-known magazine that is bought by many.

To compete with this magazine, I plan to also use a large dominant image that is in the centre of my magazine so it is eye catching and noticeable when on a shelf.

QQ magazine is one of my main competitors as it is extremely well-known and the editors design the magazine to appeal to the same target audience as my own magazine.

To compete with this magazine, I plan to use a large main cover line over the dominant image as it will show what the main article in the magazine is about.

NMENME magazine is one of the main competitors for my magazine. This is due to the price that is asked for the magazine. I plan to use between £2.00 to £3.00 for the price of my magazine which is the same bracket for this particular magazine.

To compete with this magazine, I plan to also use multiple unique selling points such as competitions to win tickets or merchandise. This will make my magazine different to NME which will make it more popular and therefore more successful.

MOJOMOJO magazine is one of my main competitors as they often include main article about music acts that I plan to feature in my magazine.

To compete with this magazine, I plan to use more unusual facts about the acts that will engage the target audience ad therefore encourage them to purchase my magazine.
