The Master of Arts in Art Therapy (MAAT) established at Albertus Magnus College in 1997, conceptualized by Dr. Ragaa Mazen.

Approved by AATA Educational Programs Approval Board (EPAB) in 2003 and 2010

Housed within the Psychology Department, with afternoon, evening and some weekend courses

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION OF APPLICATION:Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited college or

university2.8 GPA (minimum)18 credits in studio art (drawing, painting,

ceramics/sculpture)15 credits in psychology (developmental, abnormal,

statistics)Proficiency in English- TOEFL score minimum of

94/120Admission is competitive –meeting these requirements does

not guarantee admission
