• Advertisers will play on people’s psychological tendencies and weaknesses such as regret

• They can make people regret not playing the lottery, therefore more ticket purchases are being made

Targeting the poor

• It is easier to target the poor because the poor people are the ones that are in dire need of money and wanting success and happiness. So the simple solution to them, buy a lottery ticket.

• Overall state lotteries are manipulating players

• Needs to stop targeting us

• Needs to make it more fair for players
