STITCH EXPLANATIONhdc2tog (hdc 2 sts together) (Yarn over, insert hook in next st and draw up a loop) twice, yarn over and draw through all 5 loops on hook – 1 st decreased.
NOTES1. Blankie is worked back and forth in rows of a ripple crochet pattern.2. The ripple in this design is created by skipping 2 sts to form valleys and working (hdc, ch 2, hdc) to
form peaks. In each row, take care to skip the 2 sts in each valley and work (hdc, ch 2, hdc) in the ch-2 sp at each peak.
3. The ripple pattern is easy to do, but it’s important to remember that you may need to work several rows before the ripple pattern becomes clear.
