Rules 

YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN! February 20, 2011 *Entry fee must be received to enter* 

Please note - not following the rules may be grounds for disqualification .

This is a juried competition for 1st and 2nd place. A “People’s Choice” aw ard will alsobe issued.1.  Entrants/teams must report to 277 Columbiana Drive for a 2:15 PM meeting on the day of 

the contest.

2. Each entrant/team will be assigned a location. All teams must provide chili cups and spoons.The Entrant/team is responsible for set-up, takedown and clean up of their assigned area.

3. Chili can be prepared on or off-site and must be ready to serve by 4:00 PM. If prepared on-site, all DHEC regulations must be adhered to. (attached and sent to ALL entrants)

 4. Entrants/teams must provide their own heat source, tent, utensils, etc. No electric hookups willbe provided.

5. A minimum of 2 gallons of chili must be provided/per contestant/team–there is no maximumrequirement. One quart of chili to be supplied to the judges. We provide the container.

6. No condiments, other than crackers, are allowed. Chili must be served as prepared.

7. Entrants are not allowed to distribute beverages.

8. The trophies will be given at 6:30PM. All votes will be tallied at 6:00 p.m.
