Brief description of the accelerator infrastr:

AGOR: superconducting K=600 MeV cyclotron for accel-eration of light and heavy ions. Capable of accelerating:• (vector-polarized) protons and (vector- and tensor-polarized) deuterons up to 190 and 180 MeV, resp. • α’s and all other ions with a q/A=½ to 90 MeV/nucleon.• heavier nuclei to 600 (q/A)2 MeV/nucleon.

Major instrumentation • Big-Bite magnetic Spectrometer (BBS)• TRIµP: - dual-mode magnetic separator

- magneto-optical traps• BINA (Big Instrument for Nuclear-polarisation Analysis)• beam line for irradiation experiments
