SMTS (Senior Member of Technical Staff)

Responsibilities:

• Leads a team of software developers• Designs, develops and delivers software applications and documentation• Solves complex and novel problems• Follows and facilitates software development  process• Assigns, manages and facilitates others to fully complete tasks and goals on time• Overall software component ownership• Coaches and mentors staff, influences others as a technical leader• Performs code and design reviews

Basic Skills / Knowledge:

• Master degree in Computer Science or Electric/Computer Engineering• Understanding of Microsoft Windows essentials• Significant experience in a low level, direct hardware or multimedia programming• Windows driver programming experience• Organizational, planning and scheduling skills, capable to manage a team• Strong analysis and problem solving skills• Hands on experience programming in C/C++ MSVC for Windows• Understanding of video concepts and video processing algorithms• Experience with communication and co-development with Western companies• Must be fluent in spoken and written English

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Electric/Computer Engineering with 5+ years of software development experience• Understanding of Microsoft Windows essentials• Significant experience in a low level, direct hardware or multimedia programming• Windows driver programming experience• Strong analysis and problem solving skills• Hands on experience programming in C/C++ MSVC for Windows• Experience with communication and co-development with Western companies is an asset• Spoken and written English is strongly desired
