Thank you for your consideration.

Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada, I attended university locally and then embarked into the world of private luxury yachts as a crew mate, using the skills and creativity in the culinary arts and as a violinist. These luxury vessels exposed me to some of the top designed interiors in the world. Professionalism and the high standards required in the reach for perfection on the job were engrained in me during my experience on private luxury yachts.

I attended the Visual College of Art and Design, where I graduated in Interior Design. I’m currently a member of the International Interior Design Association.

Having trained in different areas of design, 3d modeling has become an area of my interest and expertise. I am very excited about the potential of being part your team, where I’m prepared to share and contribute to the best of my ability, and to be an asset to your team.

The following pages illustrate my abilities.

Sincerely, Jenna Forseth

PROJECT DETAILS PROJECT Central Pearl Bar LOCATION Vivaque Cruise ship SIZE 4,936 SF (458 SM)

CENTRAL PEARL BAR

The Central Pearl Bar is located in

the middle of several entertainment

venues. The radial-concentric

design space that connects to the

entrances of the neighboring Duel-

ing Piano Bar, Comedy Club, and

Nightclub.

DESIGN

An underwater world is simulated,

using Reynolds Polymer Technology, by

constructing acrylic panels with a rear

projection. Video images of under the

ocean’s surface are projected on the

acrylic surface. A large curved acrylic

panel features a virtual show.

Elements in the space are fluid and free,

in recognition of the underwater theme.

CONTEXT The Central Pearl Bar is located on deck three of the Vivaque Cruise ship. Three entertainment venues surround the Central Pearl Bar. The west and east passages to the Central Pearl Bar are visually high impact corridors, inviting visitors to transition into the underwater world.

A ceiling design in the form of dynamic waves is introduced. The drop ceiling dome in the center of the room is the orgin of the waves, which run down the wall of half of the area. A mirror finish is applied to the ceiling and to the wall hosting the waves.

The mirrors on the host wall reflects the virtual show.

One of the Pearl Bar’s ceiling design concepts is constructed of acrylic drop ceiling and ascending metal rings, mimicing a ripple in calm waters.

Conceptual space planning sketch

The general office area is a open plan, facilitating creative development between product designers. Glass partitions define the adjacent office spaces. Collaboration areas are easily accessible, with multiple locations placed conveniently throughout the office space. Textures will appear to have a rugged earthiness. Finishes will include warm tones and calming natural colors.

Privacy Smart Glass technology is used to provide control over privacy by choosing the visibility through the partition. Above, the conference room becomes a private meeting place.

While collaboration areas are open to the rest of the office, the alternative option is to enclose these areas. On the right, glass partitions visually contribute to the open space plan, while the enclosure offers acoustical privacy.

Privacy levels are controlled using Smart Glass Technology to change glass visibility.

Levels of privacy are easily customized, from clear to semi-private and private.

SAYZEN SPA DESIGN

Sayzen spa will be a restorative and social experience, practicing the traditions

of Hammams. A hallway will connect a variety of treatment rooms, such

as the hammam room with warm stone benches and shower rooms with a light

show and piped in music, for visitors to move freely between. Precious stones

and warm woods, and water stimulate the senses.

SUGAR BAY HOTEL DESIGN

Sugar Bay Hotel will provide the opportunity for guests to experience

being a part of the art exhibit. Sculptures by Henry Moore line the grand

passage from the foyer, Alexander Calder’s giant mobile soars above one

of the three pools, and world photography transports guests to unexpect-

ed lands. Luxuriously rich, textured materials and lighting design simulate

the senses in this modern hotel.
