Alpha Lite Compact’s impressive versatility, durability and energy efficiency easily takes you from the camp site to construction site, anywhere rough handling is a part of daily use. Featuring an advanced LED technology platform, Alpha Lite Compact incorporates wide voltage operation and light weight yet robust construction.

Each model of the Alpha Lite Compact features a wide input voltage range. With a durable, weatherproof IP65 enclosure and solid state LED technology, the Alpha Lite Compact will withstand tough environments.

Achieving an impressive 1800 lumens, the LED Alpha Lite Compact provides a 120 degree wide angle beam and uses only 20W, half the power of an equivalent fluorescent (specifications relate to double length model).

The Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Alpha Lite Compacts (12VDC and 32VAC) are ideal for use in wet conditions, arduous (non-hazardous) environments and confined spaces. The DC models can be operated from a vehicle battery, while the AC models are better suited to continuous use from a safety isolating transformer or ELV reticulated supply where long leads are required.

Hose it, drop it, bang it – Alpha Lite Max is engineered from every angle to make it the champion light for arduous construction, mining, tunnelling and manufacturing sites.

Alpha Lite Max is a permanent or portable lighting solution, designed for environments where temperature, sun exposure, moisture and dust are present and contact with moving objects is likely. All external materials are non-metallic and selected for impact strength and durability.

The single 60 LED array produces equivalent light to a 36W fluorescent lamp yet consumes less than half the power. Glare is minimised through internal prisms moulded into the outer case, producing an effective and efficient light distribution without the light absorption of an opal diffuser.

Alpha Lite Max boasts highly energy efficient LED technology and wide operating voltage range. LED drivers produce a constant output, resulting in uniform brightness over long cable runs.

Alpha Lite Max is available as a single (18W) and twin (36W) luminaire. These produce light equivalent to 1 x 36W and 2 x 36W fluorescent lamps respectively. The lights are on instantly and deliver full light output with no warm up period.

The standard Alpha Lite Max is supplied ready for use with a power lead fitted. It can also be configured with through-wiring for convenient end to end connection and customised for specialty applications.

The Mod Lite combines a vibration and impact resistant polycarbonate tube with bright long life LEDs to illuminate the toughest environments.

Suitable for portable use the versatile Mod Lite is also supplied with plastic mounting clips making it a great choice for work vans, trucks, machinery, boats, walkways, factories, camping and caravans.

The Mod Lite features crisp, white, flicker free LEDs that provide instant full brightness with no warm up time.

LED life is maximised through modular design which minimises heat concentration in longer length versions. This modulated system means that if a module fails the other modules remain illuminated to keep you working.

The FLP1 Luminaire is a permanent or portable lighting solution designed for hazardous, flameproof and weatherproof applications.

The FLP1 includes a UV stabilised high impact polycarbonate outer case closed by a nut and boss assembly. This assembly is moulded from flame retardant reinforced nylon material. An “O” ring between the outer case and the boss seals the luminaire to IP66/68.

Available in a range of power ratings to suit many applications, with alternative AC or DC voltage available upon request.

For ease of maintenance the FLP1 features simple plug in components and a single nut closure system for easy lamp access.

The OD5 Series luminaires are a permanent lighting solution suitable for hazardous, flameproof and weatherproof applications including industrial and automotive workshops, walkways and around machinery.

The low maintenance luminaire includes pre-painted mild steel internal metal components and a hinge-down batten mount facility or optional pipe mounting.

A Maintained Emergency (ME) version of the OD includes an integral emergency pack which consists of a solid-state inverter, battery charger, high temperature NiCAD battery pack and change-over circuit. This allows one of the fluorescent tubes to operate at 10W for two hours in the event of a loss of primary power, providing emergency lighting for safe egress.

The light requires an un-switched active supply for battery charging (16 hours recharge time) and supply monitoring and a switched active supply for normal operation. A red LED provides indication of the operation of the battery changer and the readiness of the emergency pack.

Underground you need a light that you can rely on. The Intrinsically Safe IS LED is your premier underground mine lighting solution.

Designed with safety and ease of maintenance in mind. It is suitable for use on longwalls and machinery.

The LED light features moulded high impact strength, static dissipative and fire retardant nylon, with a clear visor moulded in polycarbonate. It includes ‘O’ rings for moisture protection and is encapsulated to prevent moisture ingress and assist in heat dissipation.

The low profile lights are magnetically mounted for ease of replacement, with optional secondary securing through roof welded pins and ‘R’ clips, or a stainless steel wire lanyard.

Available in a range of colours, each light includes six high powered LEDs that produce the light equivalent to an 11W fluorescent lamp.

The IS LED forms part of a complete lighting system, with the electronic circuitry to drive the LEDs designed for high efficiency, reliability and safety. The system is modular in design making it quick and easy to install and remove and able to be customised to suit specifications.

Burn Brite Intrinsically Safe cables complete the lighting system, with robust proprietary connectors. The cables ensure minimal voltage drop across cable runs.

Optional Accessory - tilt bracket

The tilt bracket allows 30 degree movement to divert the light required whilst providing magnetic mounting on the same footprint as the IS LED.

IS LEDs are available in red, green and blue to identify go/no go zones, fire extinguishers and first aid stations.

The Intrinsically Safe Power Supply (ISPS MK2) fully isolates electrical input and output voltages for Ex zone 0, 1 and 2 applications. It is used for the safe operation of certified field devices, such as roof support controllers, lights and sensors in hazardous areas.

ISPS MK2 features a universal voltage range of 85 – 265VAC and an Ex ia rating, allowing it to supply devices operating in Zone 0 (delivery only), Zone 1 and Zone 2 environments and improve safety for personnel working in these areas.

The unit incorporates a number of efficiency features including efficient power conversion, low standby power and low temperature rise. The unit’s compact, lightweight housing means the ISPS MK2 can be retrofitted to replace existing power supplies.

In terms of safety, the fully encapsulated ISPS MK2 provides active protection via triple independent protection circuits to protect against a wide range of faults including excessive current flow or voltage at the connected load.

Power is automatically restored once faults are cleared with output voltage restored approximately 0.6 seconds after the short circuit or over-voltage fault condition is rectified.

ISPS MK2 has a low output ripple or noise output (less than 100mV) for minimal electrical interference.

SAFE-T-pAck STEp down iSolATion TRAnSFoRmERS

The Safe-T-Pack is designed to be used with Burn Brite’s range of 32VAC and 24VAC portable lights, and other low voltage electrical products with T-pin plugs. A sturdy steel case and handy carry handle make it ideal for a broad range of applications including building, manufacturing and maintenance environments and industrial and automotive workshops.

The Safe-T-Pack is powered from a 240VAC supply and is available in 24V or 32VAC output voltages with 1, 2 or 4 standard low voltage T-pin outlets.

Transformer protection is included through the inclusion of a user-replaceable fuse.

12Vdc 2A powER SUpply

The Burn Brite Information Technology Equipment (ITE) Power Supply is specifically designed to suit the Burn Brite range of portable lights, or any other light which has a lighter plug socket.

The powers supply accepts and input voltage range of 100-240VAC, 50-60Hz, 0.55A and provides an output of 12VDC, 2A.
