Main Difference- temporary v. lifetime worker.
Indentured Servant• Indenture= written contract; Servant= worker.• This contract is signed by the worker and the person
they are working for.• Why sign a contract? To make it official that you are
carrying out your duties/job. • Why are you working for someone? The
person/family you are working for paid for your trip from Europe to the colonies, since you could not afford it.

occupations in Europe.
• Women- mostly worked indoors with childcare, cooking, cleaning, etc.
