The EVO ICL (Implantable Contact Lens) functions like a contact lens placed inside your eye between the iris (the coloured part of the eye) and the natural lens, where it is invisible to you and from the outside.

There is no removal of tissue, resulting in virtually no corneal haze, which means great vision almost
instantly.
ICL is able to treat up to -20.0 diopters,
while LASIK would not be suitable for
high powered patients with limitation of
cornea thickness.
Unlike LASIK, no corneal tissue is
permanently removed or reshaped
during the ICL procedure.
An important advan-tage is that while the ICL can permanently correct your vision, it
can be removed and/or replaced if
necessary.
ICL does not induce dry eyes, and is
suitable for patient who have pre-existing
dry eye problems.
