Crawford & Company (Norway) AS Bolsters Operations with Additional Professionals
SANDVIKA (November 25, 2013) – Ola Landerud, Stein Kleven and Ola Valen‐Sendstad have joined
Crawford & Company (Norway) AS.
Ola Landerud joins Crawford’s Norway operations as a claims handler. He graduated from the police
academy in 1973, and worked for the police department for 10 years. In 1984 he started his insurance
career as a motor claims handler with Norge forsikring. In 1991 he joined The Norwegian Motor
Insurers’ Bureau, handling motor claims and occupational injury claims. In 2004 Ola began working for
another claims handling company, and continued to handle abroad motor claims before coming to
Crawford.
Stein Kleven has joined the company as an attorney-at-law and executive general adjuster. He received
his law degree in 1983 from University of Oslo. In 1984 he worked as project manager for
Kreditorforeningen in Oslo and later that year he became an associate lawyer with Norkreditt AS. In
1986 he joined Vesta Forsikring as an attorney, where he was responsible for risk analysis and risk
acquisition for Norwegian companies’ on‐shore and off‐shore operations and dispute settlement
procedures within insurance law, tort law and contract law. Stein went on to work for Føyen & Company
and MNA Kogstad Lunde & Company prior to his current position. Stein has been a member of the Bar
Association's Committee for Insurance Law.
Ola Valen‐Sendstad is an executive general adjuster with Crawford (Norway) AS and has more than 40
years of claims handling and surveying experience, with a specialization in agriculture. For 22 years he
worked as an independent surveyor for Skafo – gruppen, and later worked for If insurance in their
commercial property large claims team for 19 years.
