IELTS — the test that opens doorsthroughout the world

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s most popular English language proficiency test for higher education and

global migration, with over 2.7 million tests taken in the past year.

The IELTS test is trusted by over 9,000 organisations, including universities, professional bodies, employers and migration authorities.

The course uses a varietyof materials developed byour experienced team ofBritish Council teachers.

The course is suitable for both academic and general IELTS exams.

Vocabulary and grammar will NOT be taught on this course as this is a short intensive exam strategy and practice course.

You will be taught strategiesfor all of the exam papers, i.e. reading, writing, listening & speaking.

All students can use ourlearning resources, which include computer software, workshops and one-to-one academic advice for free.

You get real exam practice by using authentic past examination papers.

You will be given guidance from your teacher on each of the 4 components of the IELTS exam.
