Pelgeroid neutrophil, monocyte, blast, platelets, AML bloodOne late neutrophil with a very dense band shaped nucleus (Pelgeroid) at left edge, 1 monocyte at left center, 1 Blast above it, 1 megathrombocyte at right center and 1 lymphocyte above it which appears to have some platelets adhered to it. Several platelets are scattered throughout the field; some of which are agranular. The rouleaux formation of the red cells is due to the density of the area. Acute Megakaryocytic Leukemia (M-7). Abnormal megakaryoblasts, myelocytes, M-7 leukemiaLeft frames: 1 promyelocyte in each frame. The nuclei in each appear to be blastic but the cytoplasm shows numerous azurophilic granules. Perhaps they are Abnormal Megakaryoblasts. Center frame: 2 abnormal intermediate neutrophils (myelocytes); the lower cell shows a small lobe fragmented from the large nuclear mass. Right frame: 3 neutrophilic myelocytes. Acute Megakaryocytic Leukemia (M-7) in relapse. Blood - 100X
