Hello! My name is Sasha Sazonov and I’m 13 years old. I’m fond of swimming. When I was 4 years old my mum taught me to swim and dive. I love watersport! I have already tried scuba-diving and windsurfing.

My hero is Evgeny Lagunov. I’ve known him since 2005, when Evgeny won the bronze medal in the 100 m freestyle at the European Short Course Swimming Championships 2005 in Triest, Italy. Evgeny Lagunov was born on the 14th of December in 1985 in Arkhangelsk. His height is 1.88 m and his weight is 77 kilograms.

handsome and sporty. I want to became as famous as he.

Evgeny Lagunov has been mad about swimming so he attended swimming pool with great pleasure.

Swimming is the best kind of sport for the physical development of Lagunova.

Professionals thought that Lagunov is a generalist, because he performed in different disciplines and achieved victory everywhere. As a result, Evgeny decided to be a short-distance swimmer.

In 2004 Evgeny Lagunov won the silver medal at European Championships and it was success of the first high level. In the same season Lagunov first debuted at the Olympic Games, which were held in Athens. In 2008 he became the national champion. For the Beijing Olympics Lagunov participated in the final swim and achieved the highest result. Evgeny won the Olympic silver medal, confirming his international class.

On the 10th of June 2013 Evgeny Lagunov performed in Monaco. The best time of swimming was 49,09 seconds. Evgeny was the second one. His time is 49,37 sec. I’m proud of Evgeny Lagunov.

Next competition is going to be in Barcelona, 11-12 June. Evgeny Lagunov will be the first, I believe!
