Statement • The Center for Teaching and Learning

serves as a catalyst for promoting a culture of pedagogical excellence at Marquette University. Rooted in Ignatian pedagogy and the scholarship of teaching and learning, we advocate innovative teaching and the use of student-centered technology while partnering with faculty as they prepare Marquette students to be agents of change for a global community.

• Hopefully these resources can serve the CTL well but also help build partnerships on campus.

• We were mindful that the themes and resources be relevant to MU, but also looks beyond the same institutional type to offer different perspectives.

• Resources will cover both theory and application (best practices).
