e Troost Corridor in Kansas City, Missouri once thrived with small businesses but as time passed, the area faced dramatic changes in population as urban sprawl took the livelihood of the area elsewhere. e Bookstore for Art & Architecture is proposed as the start of a revitalization by reintroducing the live/work building type back into the area. e Bookstore supports a retail area, a caf, a residence for the proprietor of the businesses, and a small apartment for a visiting artist or author.

Eureka Park PavilionSmall Town Studio is a h year graduate studio at Kansas State University. For our studios rst semester project, we were handed the task of designing and building a pavilion to be constructed in the small town of Eureka, Kansas. Our aim was to give an unused, but centrally located and historically signicant green space a place to gather.

121110 In March 2015, Small Town Studio will resume construction on the pavilion. With the tertiary supports and the lateral bracing installed, we prepare to start the roof.
As the nal column is placed, the corner poles had to be shied to make the structure square.
Leveling the columns called for the linemen to site the verticals with plumb bobs.
Installing the secondary structure of the roof.
A scissor li donated to us by a local company.

Water Archive of Kansas Citye Water Archive of Kansas City is a project designed to showcase the ability of water to shape a landscape. Something that we are always taught to design for is water shed. Instead of protecting the bastions walls the drainage system channels water to run over their surfaces. Over the course of time, the water will patina the concrete to a green color due to copper sheeting embedded in the walls

Selected PhotographyPhotography is something that I use to document an experience. For me, architecture has always been about the story a building tells, spoken or silent. Each one of the following photographs captures something unexpected.

About MeFamily and friends are paramount in my life. Coming from a large Italian-American family, I was taught that in life, the relationships that you establish with the people around you become the basis on which your character is derived. is echoes true in every aspect of a persons life, including their career. roughout my experiences with the design profession, I have come to realize that we as designers create for a client; not for individual gain and not for an ego boost, but for a person. ese relationships are the key to a successful project and a successful career.
