As we were doing our research and progressing up the Bloom’s ladder we realized that ‘collaboration’ was the fundamental keyword in all of the levels.
WHY?

In 21st century classes where most students are digital natives, there’s an opportunity to collaborate with:
• your students
• other teachers at school
• other schools from all over the world

REMEMBERING
The focus in this level is retrieving information. Students use websites like Google and Ask.com to search. However, this search doesn’t go beyond the key word or the term they are looking for.

UNDERSTANDING
In the digital world, “Comprehension” or “Understanding” takes the form of advanced/Boolean searching, blog journaling, categorizing and subscribing.

APPLYING
In this level students start using the knowledge so they can initiate, operate and manipulate hardware and applications.

ANALYSING
At this level, a lot of data is available to students, but much of it isn’t differentiated so it’s crucial for students to validate their information by tagging and linking on the web.

EVALUATING
In this level, students highly collaborate with other parties while commenting andreplying to postings on the web. After students examine the information in context, they evaluate and reply.

CREATING
In this level students mix technology heavily with their creativity andstart creating films, videos, vodcasts, podcasts, wikis and blogs.
