Different Pictograms Used for ADA Compliant Signage
Not all ADA signs require the use of pictograms.
But a number of these signs do use symbols and pictograms.
The signs that use pictograms often use the same ones other companies use for their signs.
This is generally to ensure that people who cannot read can still easily understand what these signs say.
Some of the more common pictograms used on ADA Compliant Signage include the following:
Wheelchair Accessible (ISA)
Women’s Restroom
Men’s Restroom
Elevator
Unisex Bathrooms
Stairways or Stairwells
And many more.
