Description: The primary objective of Routing Optimization Platform, developed by CSG International alias Ascade is to decide how the calls from BT Wholesale customers would be routed through BT Wholesale suppliers. This routing decision would be made based different parameters like Cost, Customer preference, Quality of service of suppliers, Network congestion etc. ROP is also used to create and maintain BT agreements with customers (Refile) and BT agreements with suppliers (Hubbing) along with their Rates and Event guiding rules. This information was further sent to Billing engines. ROP works in a Client Server architecture and it communicates with other systems like Central Routing Engine (CRE), Rating Engine (IXONM), Mediation Layer (WONM), MedAdmin, OREO, UKNG, Pre-pay Billing Engine (Aurora/Aztec) and Post-pay Billing Engine (GenIUS). BT Wholesale Voice & Multimedia projects are designed, developed and tested in releases based on Agile model and have 8-9 sprints in each release. Responsibilities: Requirement Analysis and Test Planning Requirement gathering, review and analysis by attending Design calls/meetings.

Identify requirement gaps, get clarification from Designers and raise them as Static defects. Conduct walkthrough of the requirements for team and assist them in identifying High level test

scenarios. Conducting daily Scrum calls with Test team and attending daily Scrum call with client delivery team. Prepare Test Plan, Test Strategies, Test Approach, Test Schedule and Test Data. Conduct Test Case Review Meetings with Business stake holders and get them approved.

Test Preparation and Execution

Liaise with Designer, Development Lead and Testers to produce a logical set of prioritized test sets. Assessing resource requirements and timescales for test execution in committed sprints. Assist and perform Integration, System, Regression Testing and support for UAT Testing. Functionality demonstration to all stake holders and ORT team after test completion in every release. Conduct daily on-shore off-shore sync-up calls specially during Test execution. Attend daily/weekly Status calls and send daily Status report to management and BT stake holders.

Defect Management Conduct defect review meeting with developers and ensure SLA’s has been met. Defect management using collaborative defect tracking tool (eg. HP QC/ALM and JIRA). Review the defects found by team members, report and prioritize them by severity. Co-ordinate with Designer and Development teams to assist in RCA and resolving defects. Conduct daily defect review call with all stake holders, Designer and Dev team.

Leadership and Mentoring Actively involved in setting up a Testing team right from short-listing, screening, interviewing,

on-boarding and inducting new team members. Mentor offshore team, monitor and troubleshoot their day-to-day work activities. Encourage team to meet specified deadlines and come up with Test strategy and mitigation plans whenever required. Timely Status reporting to TechM management and BT business stake holders. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key colleagues such as Solution Designers, Product Managers, Analyst/Engineers and Development teams.

It is designed to provide business functionality to corporate users. It offers online access to a suite of commercial banking services like File Upload, File Enquiry, File Authorization, File Status Monitoring, Balance and Transaction Reporting, Reports and File Download, Online Payments and Cash Management and a wealth of carefully researched Global Markets data. It is an intelligent switch which receives, validates, converts and sends customer payments to required HSBC Back Offices (BOS/HUB) or external service provider systems. Moreover it redirects the acknowledgments and reports received from BOS/HUB and external service provider systems to respective customer. SAG or Connect Enterprise are a couple of H2H service provided to the customer. Customer can directly upload their payment files through these gateways. The remote can be used as a regular TV remote as well as a handheld internet console which could be used to browse the internet, play games, check local weather, download TV guide listings, get sport updates, etc. The device could be configured to a zip code of choice and the device will download weather, TV Guide on its own. TV providers could be configured by the user. It also hosts a mail client. Responsibilities: Preparing Test Cases from the Scenarios. Black box testing including creating of Test Data.
