PERSONAL PROFILEHaving recently completed an Interior Architecture Degree with a First Class Honours, I am looking to build upon my skills and knowledge within the design field. I am a dedicated reliable individual, eager to take on any creative challenge working with initial concept through to completed scheme. I have always been passionate about art and design, however in the last 3 years it is my passion for design and architecture which has grown substantially. I am particularly interested in the re-use of existing buildings as I feel it is important to preserve and recycle our architectural heritage for a sustainable future.

FINAL MAJOR DESIGN PROJECT // RESURRECTION : LIVERPOOL The design proposal for Resurrection: Liverpool regenerates the Pilotage building located on Canning Dock Liverpool, into a marine archaeology centre housing archaeological laboratories an exhibition space and a new home for the Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane society. The exhibition educates the visitor on the 28 local wrecks telling the story of Liverpool’s fight for the Wreck protection act of 1973. The conceptual approach looks at the preservation of a marine artefact and the stages of raising, preserving and revealing. The proposal deals with the schematics of the site comprehensively and sensitively, preserving the buildings ornate features internally and externally. Sustainable materials have been used throughout, referencing industrial and traditional ship building techniques using reclaimed oak and steel.
