Curriculum and program delivery adjustment• Lynwood’s students and teachers are strong, but the

current program is creating inconsistencies. • Curriculum and program delivery need to be adjusted

to include data-driven instruction, common assessments, increased rigor, and differentiated support.

• Expectations for students (performance measures, outcomes, ambitions) need to be equally high for all students.

• Need additional professional support for teachers.• Need to engage and empower parents in setting

expectations.

Differentiated Instruction

Achieving Greatness Initiative

LUSD’s instructional program must recognize students' varying background knowledge, readiness, language, preferences in learning and interests, and react responsively. The intent of differentiating instruction is to maximize each student's growth and individual success by meeting each student where he or she is and assisting in the learning process.
