At every moment of the day, the Holy Mass is being offered somewhere in the world. This sacrifice of Christ on Calvary is made present to us in a mystical way. The Mass and the Eucharist is our celebration of giving thanks. In fact, Eucharist is Greek for Thanksgiving. Let us strive to be thankful for the blessings that the Lord has bestowed upon us each day. One way to manifest that gratitude is by our preparation for and frequency of participation at Mass. As we celebrate Christ the King Sunday, the last Sunday of the Church year, we ought not just have the name of Jesus on our lips, but redouble our efforts to manifest His sacrifice of thanksgiving in our lives. En cada momento del día, la Santa Misa se ofrece en algún lugar del mundo. Este sacrificio de Cristo en el Calvario se nos hace presente de una manera mís-tica. La Misa y la Eucaristía es nuestra celebración de dar gracias. De hecho, la Eucaristía en griego significa Acción de Gracias. Procuremos ser agradecidos por las bendiciones que el Señor nos otorga cada día. Una forma de manifes-tar esa gratitud es mediante nuestra pre-paración y frecuente participación en la Misa. Al celebrar Cristo Rey el domingo, el último domingo del Año Litúrgico, no debemos simplemente poner el nombre de Jesús en nuestros labios, sino redoblar nuestra esfuerzos para manifestar Su sa-crificio de acción de gracias en nuestras vidas. Que Dios te bendiga.

THANKSGIVING DAY CELEBRATIONCELEBRACION DEL DIA DE ACCION DE GRACIAS
Almost one hundred people came to Saint Joseph to celebrate together the day of Thanksgiving. We had a heartfelt Eucharistic celebration followed by a festive luncheon. It was an enriching opportunity to celebrate the blessing of having one faith and being one Saint Joseph-family. Casi 100 personas vinieron a San José para celebrar juntas el día de Acción de Gracias. Tuvimos una sentida celebración eucarística se-guida de un almuerzo festivo. Fue una oportunidad enriquecedora para celebrar la bendición de tener una sola fe y ser la familia de San José.
