1. Solemnize marriages, any provisions of law to the contrary not withstanding; 2. Issue licenses and permits and suspend or revoke the same for any violation of the conditions upon which said licenses or permits had been issued, pursuant to law or ordinance; 3. Issue permits, without need of approval therefore from any national agency, for the holding of activities for any charitable or welfare purposes, excluding prohibited games off chance or shows contrary to law, public policy and public morals;
4. Require owners of illegally constructed houses, building or other structure to obtain the necessary permit, subject to such fines and penalties as may be imposed by law or ordinance, or to make necessary changes in the demolition or removal of said house, building or structure within the period prescribed by the law or ordinances;

Vaccination is the giving of specific biologics to susceptible animals to make it immune to the disease such as: hemorrhagic septicemia in cattle, hog cholera in swine, new castle disease in poultry, and rabies for dogs. This is a yearly program jointly implemented by the barangay, municipal and provincial governments to get rid of disease occurence/outbreak. 2. Castration is the removal of male reproductive organ to avoid indiscriminate breeding/mating, rendering the animal to be more docile and easy to handle, grow faster and improve meat quality and flavor. 3. Deworming is the giving of anthelmentics to susceptible animals to get rid of both external and internal parasites. 4. Disease prevention and control is a service provided to clients to treat sick animals by giving appropriate veterinary drug/antibiotic for immediate recovery. 5. Animal dispersal program is a local government initiative spearheaded by the MAO to provide livelihood among livestock raisers purposely to augment family income. The program can be availed by recipients through cash counterpart and/or free of charge/dole out.
