One popular yuletide custom is the Christmas Carnival or fairs where members of the community get together to enjoy special games, holiday food, take part in talent contest and purchase art and handicrafts

On a more personal level, Christmas is the time for families to get together and celebrate by wining and dining. This involves elaborate yuletide specialties such as cakes cakes, cookies and pies.

Christmas decorations which is a part of Christmas Carnival is also a large part of yuletide festivities. It all starts off with people cleaning and renovating their houses on the on start of December itself

Once done with cleaning and rearranging, people like to set up special yuletide décor such ornament laden Christmas trees, mistletoe and holly leaves and bells and baubles

The Nativity scene is also an integral part of yuletide decorations and is a depiction fo the birth of Christ
