Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of
the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.

Celebrating the Life Of
Rita Mulcahy September 24, 1943 ~ December 31, 2014
R ita Mulcahy, daughter of John and Mary
(Reilly) Mulcahy was born on September
24, 1943. She grew up in Minneapolis,
Minnesota where she graduated high school.
Rita received a degree in journalism, before
getting a degree in library sciences from St.
Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
She moved to Morris, Minnesota in the early
1970’s where she was the head librarian at the
Morris Public Library. Rita held this position
over 35 years before retiring. She continued to
live in Morris until the time of her death.
Rita was a great librarian and knew her library
inside and out. She could find a book by her
customers just describing the story or subject.
Rita thought it was always important to have a
diverse book selection for kids, as it was not
important what they were reading but that they
were reading.
Rita died on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at
the Knute Nelson Care Center in Alexandria,
Minnesota. She was 71 years old.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, John
and Mary.
