(Working Title)

Page 2: Breaking News

Equilibrium

• Samuel Warrens is a promising young journalist, straight out of Harvard. He has managed to get a job at The New York Times.

Page 3: Breaking News

Disruption• Samuel is working late at the office one night when he

happens to witness the violent murder of the Editor. The assailant runs off, interrupted by Sam. Before he passes away, the Editor is able to pass on to Sam a secret message or clue.

• Being the only witness to the case, the police place him under protection of a witty and tough policewoman. However, the Editor's dying words are integral to solving the case, leaving justice in the hands of Samuel and Sarah.

• After some shoot-ups and street fights, in which Sarah almost single-handedly takes on all the baddies, they track down the killer, who is the Deputy Editor, and also a Mafia Boss.

Restoration• Once the climax of the film has been played out,

a dramatic assault on the Deputy Editor's villa, Samuel writes up the story and is catapulted up the ranks of the newspaper, while Sarah is also promoted. And of course, Sarah and Samuel get together.
