We have examined the Balance Sheet and Income and Expenditure Accounts of the British Ecological Society as at 31 December 1954, set forth above. We have obtained all the information and explanations we have required, and have verified the investments and Balance at Bank. In our opinion the above Balance Sheet is properly drawn up as to exhibit a true and correct view of the state of the Society's affairs, according to the best of our informa- tion and the explanations given us, and as shown by the books of the Society.
