Search: The Basics

Questions are the answer Think in questions. How would you write the information you are looking for? What could be near the search term? Know any synonyms?

q Mind the word order ‘red white’ gives you a different result as ‘white red’

Spelling is important, Capitals are not

a Keep it Simple Try to search with 2 – 3 words

“ Don’t use sentences Use combination of words rather than full sentences

r Think broad If you don’t have a lot of information start with general queries and narrow down as you go.
