Mower County Historical SocietyExplore 17 buildings and 11 out-door exhibits, including a one-room school house, log cabin, steam en-gine and train depot, civil war fl ag, agricultural equipment and imple-ments, uniforms and items for WWI and WWII and so much more. FREE admission for school groups.
Jay C Hormel Nature CenterThe Nature Centers Interpretive Building provides hands-on activ-ities and living displays. The Nat-uralist staff can provide programs that include wildflower hikes, cider pressing maple syruping, monarch tagging, owls talks and so much more! In addition the nature cen-ter features over 500 acres of hard wood, pine forest, restored prairies, ponds, creeks and miles of trails. FREE admission for trails, cost varies for presentations.

Climbers must be in Kindergarten or older. Our indoor climbing wall is the centerpiece of Base Camp and simulates natural rock face. Our iconic 30-foot out-door climbing towers can handle a ton of participants
Our year-round ropes course contains three levels of challenging elements, with five paths and aerial obstacles at 16-feet above ground. Seventh graders or older will conquer this adventure.
Base Camp will meet all of your needs. Anyone can participate, with room for parking, overnight programs, and scholarships available, With Base Camps flexibility designing your own adventure is easy.
