Make sure to replacethe Drip Tray.• Press in the end of the Locking Latch nearest the Handle tounlock the product.• Open the unit by pulling the Handle up.• You may season the plates with butter, margarine or cooking fat.• Since the appliance has a non-stick coated surface, the use ofbutter or oil is optional.• Close the Plates and turn the unit on by plugging it into a standardelectrical outlet. Verify that the Power Indicator Light illuminatesin orange.

NOTICE!During the initial uses of this product, it may producesome smoke. This is normal and will subside withfurther use.

CAUTIONDo not use this product to cook or defrost frozen food.All food must be completely defrosted before cookingit with this product.

WARNING!The Cooking Plates and metal surfaces of the unit willbecome extremely hot when in use. To avoid a burnhazard, wear heat resistant mitts or gloves and touchonly the black portion of the Handle.

• After the unit preheats for approximately five minutes, theReady Indicator Light will illuminate in green, indicating theproduct is ready for use.• Use the Handle to lift the Upper Plate. Place food on the LowerPlate using wooden or plastic heat-resistant utensils.

CAUTIONDo not use metal utensils on this product, as they willscratch and damage the Plates’ non-stick coating.

• Use the Locking Latch to lower and rest the Upper Plate on topof the food.

Usage

WARNING!After fixing the locking latch for the high food, to notpress on upper plate. As locking mecanizm is fixed,pressing might break the locking latch.

NOTICE!The cooking time for different foods depends on the typeand thickness of the foods.

• Foods should be cooked thoroughly before consumption.• When the food is cooked as desired, lift the Handle to open thePlates, then remove the food using the utensils. If more cookingwill be done at this time, close the Plates to conserve heat.• Repeat Steps 7-9 until all cooking is complete, reapplyingcooking oil as necessary.• Turn off the product by unplugging the Power Cord from theelectrical outlet.• When the unit has completely cooled, clean and dry it.• Lock the unit in its closed position by pressing in the end of theLocking Latch farthest from the Handle.

To use as a Grill (flat cooking)• Insert the plug into a 230V power outlet and switch ON. The redpower ON light will illuminate.• Turn the temperature dial to the desired heat setting.• Allow the Grill toaster to preheat until the green ready light illuminates.• Place meat or foods to be cooked on the bottom cooking plate.Refer to guide for cooking times which is on the top cooking plate.• Close the top cooking plate• When the selected foods are grilled, open the lid. Remove thefood with the help of a plastic spatula.

• Before cleaning, unplug and wait for the appliance and theplates to cool down.• Wipe the outside with only a slightly moistened cloth ensuring thatno moisture, oil or grease enters the cooling slots.• To clean the plates you can let them in the appliance or removethem from the appliance (therefore press on the button 2 near thehandle and remove them (see picture). If you let them in theappliance, wipe the plates with a damp cloth or towel. If youremove them from the appliance, you can wash them under runningwater. Dry them afterwards. Never place the plates into thedishwasher.• Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pador steel wool as this will damage the finish.• Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
