Secret Sisters
Each day we picked a popsicle stick with a friend’s name on it. During the day, we would watch that individual and take note ofthe good things they were saying and doing. That night we would gather together and share what we learnedabout our secret sister.
Here are some of the things that others noticed about me.

2011 YW Camp SongI will Anchor my Soul in Christ
music & lyrics by: Roger & Melanie Hoffman
Winds blow around me.Waves rush to drown me.
I will anchor my soul in Christ,Anchor my soul in Christ.
Mists rise to blind me.He'll reach to find me.
I will anchor my soul in Christ,Anchor my soul in Christ.
At times it takes my breath away,The fierceness of the sea.
But with joy I take my journeyFor the Master sails with me.
He'll stay beside me.His voice will guide me.
I will anchor my soul in Christ forever,Anchor my soul in Christ.
We used our camp theme to design our banner. Each YW designedher own clothespin doll to attach to the banner.

Here’s where we stayed!!
Camp Bennion Creek is situated in the beautiful Manti-La Salforest of the Wasatch Mountain range. The camp encompasses 97acres at an elevation of approximately 7,000 feet, and is accessableby a five mile dirt road that branches off of Highway 6 in SpanishFork canyon. Encouraging the growth of established cottonwood
trees is the gentle flowing Bennion Creek which winds through theproperty and has been managed to provide the camp with it''s own
pond for swimming, canoeing, and fishing.

Abide with me; ‘Tis EventideAbide with me; ‘tis eventide. The day is past and gone;
The shadows of the evening fall; The night is coming on.Within my heart a welcome guest, within my home abide.
O Savior, stay this night with me; Behold ‘tis eventide.O Savior, stay this night with me; Behold ‘tis eventide.
Abide with me; ‘tis eventide. They walk today with meHas made my heart within me burn, As I communed with thee.
Thy earnest words have filled my soul And kept me near thy side.O Savior, stay this night with me; Behold, ‘tis eventide. O Savior, stay this night with me; Behold ‘tis eventide.
Abide with me; ‘tis eventide, And lone will be the nightIf I cannot commune with thee Nor find in thee my light.
The darkness of the world, I fear, would in my home abide.O Savior, stay this night with me; Behold, ‘tis eventide.O Savior, stay this night with me; Behold, ‘tis eventide.

GRANDFATHER'S CLOCKMy grandfather's clock was too large for the shelf, So it stood ninety years on the floor. It was taller by half than the old man himself, But it weighed not a penny's weight more, It was bought on the morn of the day that he was born And was always his treasure and pride. But it stopped, short, never to go again When the old man died.
Chorus: Ninety years without slumbering, Tick tock, tick tock. His life seconds numbering, Tick tock, tick tock. It stopped, short, never to go again When the old man died.
In watching its pendulum swing to and fro, Many hours had he spent when a boy. And in childhood and manhood the clock Seemed to know and to share both his grief and his joy. For it struck twenty four when he entered in the door With a blooming and beautiful bride But it stopped, short, never to go again When the old man died.
Chorus
My grandfather said that for those he could hire Not a servant so faithful he found. For it wasted no time and had but one desire, At the close of each week to be wound, And it kept in its place, not a frown upon its face. And its hands never hung by its side. But it stopped, short, never to go again When the old man died.
Chorus
It rang an alarm in the dead of the night, An alarm that for years had been dumb. And we knew that his spirit was pluming for flight, That his hour for departure had come. Still the clock kept the time, with a soft and muffled chime, As we silently stood by his side. But it stopped, short, never to go again When the old man died. Chorus

IRISH SONG Verse 1It seems like only yesterday I sailed from out of CorkA wanderer from Erin's Isle I landed in New York. There wasn't a soul to greet me here, a stranger on your shoreBut Irish luck was with me, and riches came galore. And now I'm goin' back again to dear old Erin's Isle.Me friends will meet me at the shore and greet me with a smile.Their faces sure I've almost forgot I've been so long awayBut me mother will introduce them all and this to me will say: [CHORUS] Verse 2They'll have a party when I go home, they'll come from near and far. They'll line the road for miles and miles with Irish jauntin' cars. The spirits will flow and we'll be gay, we'll fill your hearts with joyThe piper will play an Irish rill to greet the Yankee boy. They'll dance and sing the whole night long, such fun was never seen. The lads'll be decked in corduroy, the colleens wearing green. There'll be thousands there that I never saw I've been so long away,But me mother will introduce them all, and this to me will say.... [CHORUS]

MORMON SUNDAY SCHOOL SONG
Chorus: Young folks, old folks, everybody come. Join the Mormon Sunday School and have a lot of fun! Kindly leave your chewing gum and candy at the door, And you’ll hear some Bible stories that you’ve never heard before.
The young prophet, Nephi’s faith was strong. In the scriptures he did no wrong. According to Frieberg’s picture of him, He must have gone to a body-building gym!
(Chorus)
Good King Benjamin built a tower. Spoke to his people for many an hour. Thousands pitched their tents to see, It looked like a Boy Scout Jamboree!
(Chorus)
They had some trouble with Alma the Younger. For spiritual enlightenment he did hunger. An angel appeared in glorious rays, And he felt mighty dumb for a couple of days.
(Chorus)
The Jaredites left the Tower of Babel. They had two leaders who were great and able. Mahonri Moriancamer earned great fame, But I can’t remember his brother’s name!
(Chorus)
The Gadianton Robbers get the thanks, For robbing all the Nephite banks. They cracked every safe in the whole darn nation, ‘Cause they had the secret combination!
(Chorus)
Buy a Book of Mormon without delay. Just one buck is all you pay. I’ll tell you just what it can do… If it reformed Egyptian, it can reform you!

Peanut Butter and Jelly Song
I’m peanut butter and you are jelly and we’re so happy on our little piece of breadI remember the first time that I saw you,
sitting in the cupboard with your other jelly friendsCause you’re so sweet and I am chunky
You’re low fat, well I’m working on that
Cause I’m peanut butter and you are jellyAnd we’re so happy on our little piece of bread
I like grape and strawberryBut you’re raspberry and that’s my favorite kind
Please forgive me for my stint with honeyI looked on the label and not at what was inside
Cause you’re so sweet and I am chunkyYou’re low fat, well I’m working on thatCause I’m peanut butter and you are jelly
And we’re so happy on our little piece of bread
I’m so glad that I discovered, you in the cupboardI hope you’re glad too
From now on, we’ll be stuck togetherBut what could be better than being stuck with you
Cause you’re so sweet and I am chunkyYou’re low fat, well I’m working on thatCause I’m peanut butter and you are jelly
And we’re so happy on our little piece of bread

Princess Pat
The princess Pat / lived in a tree. She sailed across / the seven seas. She sailed across / the channel too.
And brought with her / a rig-a-bamboo.
ChorusA rig-a-bamboo / now what is that?
It’s something made / by the princess Pat.It’s red and gold / and a purple too.
That’s why it’s called / a rig-a-bamboo.
Now Captain Jack / had a mighty fine crew. They sailed across / the channel too.Their ship did sink / and so will you,
If you don’t take/ a rig-a-bamboo. [Chorus]
