Double Page Spread Analysis

Page 2: Double Page Spread A

The title is a pull quote. The style font is carried on from the front cover. The text is in a reversed out style. It stands out against the black background and looks almost cut out and rebellious. Some letters are bigger and bolder than others showing it isn't formal. The text is sans serif and bold, this shows it isn't formal or serious. The image of Lilly Allen covers the whole of the right side page. Lilly Allen is stood with her hands on her hips suggesting that she's confident. She's looking straight at you which captures your attention. Her hair looks ruffled and she's wearing a oversized shirt. Her hand is positioned so you can see her tattoo. It would capture readers attention who would dress similarly and have a emo style. This image represents her as being rebellious and therefore could interest readers who are in the age group of teenagers as they are stereotyped to be rebellious.

The main colours of the page are blue black and orange. The word street is in blue and is in an informal font the word fighters is white in a orange background. This captures readers attention because of the boldness of the two colours. The dark background emphasis how bright the orange is making it stand out. The image is bold. The band are dressed in a very 'street' way wearing caps, jackets, t shirts, jeans and trainers. The band are coming out of a back of the van as if they are 'bursting in' which creates a lot of attention.
