IF WE TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THEINTERDEPENDENT AND SUPPORT ACTIVITIES, THE CCIsREPRESENT A MARKET WORTH 62 BILLION EUROS (5.6%OF GDP) AND EMPLOY 1,2 MILLION PEOPLE (5.9% OF TOTAL EMPLOYMENT).

IN SPITE OF BEING A SECTOR EXPERIENCINGCONTINUOUS GROWTH, THE CCIs INSPAIN STILL HAVE A CONSIDERABLE MARGINTO REACH HIGH GROWTH RATES UNTILCOMING CLOSE TO 7.5% OF GDP LIKE FRANCE OR 9.6% OF GDP LIKE THE UK.IN THE EU-27, THE CCIs REPRESENT6.9% OF THE TOTAL GDP.
