1. General

Characteristics• Universal 2-part and 3-part door hinges for aluminium

doors.• The hinges combine high functionality, user-friendliness

and high security with an aesthetic design.• CertifiedinaccordancewithCE,KOMOandSKG.• Maximumventweight:120kg(2-part),160kg(3-part).

Advantages• Simple assembly with direct screwing or assembly with

clamping plates.• The door hinges are non-handed.• 3-dimensional adjustment with only 1 allen key after

installation of the door.• Support pins prevent the frame part and the vent part

dropping.• Clip-on cover caps which are also secured by a screw.• Higher security against burglary by a security pin when

the hinges are mounted externally.

4. Adjustments

• Both the 2-part hinges and the 3-part hinges can be adjusted in 3 directions.

• The adjustments can be done by one person, on a mounted door, without unscrewing the hinges.

• All adjustments can be made accurately witha5mmallenkey.

• Steplessadjustments: - Heightadjustment:-1mm/+4mm - Horizontaladjustment:±3mm - Gasketpressureadjustment:±1.25mm

• Note:thegasketpressureadjustmentisspreadovertheframepartandtheventpart: - Framepart:-0.5/0/+0.5mm - Ventpart:-0.75/-0.25/+0.25/+0.75mm

• Thankstotheuniquehorizontaladjustmentthere’snovisibleoffset between frame and vent part of the hinge.

• Adjustment3-parthinge: Afteradjustingthegasketpressure,theeccentricbushintheventpartmustbekeptinitspositionbythepositioningpin(underneath the end cap). Alternatively, you can also use a 4 mmallenkey.Thenyouturnthevent,theaxisisfixedwiththe grub screw and the positioning pin is removed. Finally, the aluminiumcovercapisplacedandfixed.

5. Special characteristics5.1. Support pins

• Theventandframepartsareeachprovidedwith2supportpinswhichengageintotheprofile.

• Primarily these pins prevent the vent dropping, but they also provide a better positioning of the hinge when mounting.

5.2. High security against burglary• The hinges are SKGtestedandapproved:2-parthinge(2stars),3-parthinge(3stars).

• The aluminium cover caps are simply clipped and additionallysecuredbyhexagonsocketheadcapscrews. The screws are only accessible when the door is open.

• When mounting the hinges on the outside, it is possible to prevent access to the hexagon hole of the screws by security pin.

10. Installation and application example10.1. General

With direct fixing

• Thenecessarydrillingholescanbemadeveryquicklyandaccuratelybyusingadrillingjig.

• Holes ø10 mm for the screws, holes ø6 mm for the support pins.

• The screws must be screwed in minimum 2 profile walls. The profile wall thickness must be at least 1.7 mm to have a good fixing.

• Mountthehingepartsontheprofileandfixthem.

• The support pins prevent the vent dropping, but they also provide a better positioning of the hinge when mounting.

With clamping plates

• Thenecessarydrillingholescanbemadeveryquicklyandaccuratelybyusingadrillingjig.

• Holes ø10 mm for the screws, holes ø6 mm for the support pins.

• Slideintheclampingplatesandpositiontheminfrontofthefixingholes.

• Mountthehingepartsontheprofileandfixthem.
