We want to take a moment to say “THANK YOU” once again
for your generous sponsorship of the 16th Annual Bessie B.
Moore Teacher Awards Program. The purpose of the pro-
gram is to honor teachers who have successfully integrated
economic principles into their classrooms and related them
to students’ real life experiences. We recognized 10 teachers
from across the state for their outstanding work in economic
education!
Without your support, we would not be able to honor these
teachers, so we applaud you for your generosity. We put
together this special edition newsletter for “donors only” as a
way to express our appreciation to you! We hope you enjoy
seeing some of the highlights from this special day.

One of the many highlights of the day was hearing student
presentations from a 9th grade class and a 1st grade class. It’s
amazing the economic concepts the students are learning!!
