The 2010 and 2011 vintages of Don Maximiano Founder’s Reserve have now both received the Best in Show and Best Super Premium Red awards in the 10th and 11th AWoCA competitions, juried by international and Chilean experts.

Don Maximiano is the only Chilean wine to obtain the highest award in two consecutive years at Annual Wines of Chile Awards (AWoCA), the country’s leading wine competition.

The AWoCA triumph came in addition to its ranking in 2014 Mesa de Cata wine guide published by La CAV, Chile’s leading wine magazine, where it received 95 points in the Icon Wine category. It also received 94 points in the 2014 Descorchados wine guide by renowned Chilean wine writer Patricio Tapia and columnist for Wine & Spirits magazine.
