Domotics Domotics is the study of

French Journalist Bruno de Bruno de LatourLatour coined the term domotic in 1984 as a composite of the Latin word domusdomus and informaticsinformatics. In the 1990s the term was introduced in Spain and Italy as "DomóticaDomótica". It literally means intelligent houses, through the use of automation technologies and computer science.
