Transportation The safest and most relieve source of transportation for tourists

are buses, rentals, guagua & taxi. Rental car – a car can be a lot easy for travelers and easier to get

around the cities. Travelers can pick up their car in the Santo Domingo area or either the airport.

Buses – are also provided for round trips to the city, which they are easy access to it.

Guagua Buses - are like minivans. They tend to be smaller for smaller towns with cheaper prices and easy access when travelling. Costs are expected to be around $5 to $10 for one way trip between little towns.

Taxi – are usually pricey when travelling to popular destination. Prices can raise at least $180 in US dollars as well with a tip. However, when travelers are planning on travelling to further places within the popular destination. The prices can raise around $350 to $400 or even $900 when ask to travel longer and further but in non popular places such as smaller towns the cost you should have to pay will be $100.

Attractions Casa de Tostado is a great place for travelers and

family to explore and experience the museum house of the Dominican family, which was build in the 10th century.

Basilica Cathedral Metropolitana Santa Maria de la Encarnacion is an old cathedral that was build in the century. Many of its antique and unique are display in the cathedral church, which travelers and tourists can explore and see how the culture of the Dominicans were back in the days.

El Museo de las Casas Reales is a museum that has been build over years ago. This museum offers great seeing of the Spanish colonies and its many centuries of the Spanish colonies that contribute to its country.

Food - one of the fine foods of the Dominican Republic are queso frito (fried chesse), sancocho (a thick meat stew served with rice and avocado slices), arroz con pollo (rice with beans and fried chicken parts), monfango (mashed green plantains and shredded pork or chicken and chittlins), and tostomes (fried green plantians). It is believe to be one of the most favorite seafood on the menu, which makes tourists willing to spend their money.

Drink - one of its famous drinks are fresh fruit batidas smoothies with different types of flavor add on such as papaya, pineapple, bananas and milk. Shopping Item - one of the most main shopping in the city is Malecon Center. This mall covers 170 shops with boutiques, services center and several movie theaters. It have surrounding tower of luxury apartments which is just close to the mall.
